About the Film: Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones is written and directed by Christopher Landon

and 

shows a different view point of the Paranormal series. It stars Andrew Jacobs and brings back in a cameo 

Katie Featherston ( Paranormal Activity ). The story focuses on a group of Hispanic neighbors and a 

rumored witch. The evil presence of the series has now marked one of the young boys and continues to do 

its evil bidding. The story maybe focus on all new characters but somehow intertwines with the rest of the

series in a smart way.

The Marked Ones is now on DVD and in Redbox currently.

My Opinion: I saw the movie in theaters and I believe that it didn't bend well with the fans as much

because 

of the new cast and stretched out plot and script. However, this movie IMO is much scarier than the rest of 

the series. It had a darker and more real feel to it as we watch the main character slowly become posessed

and slipping away from reality. 

Buyable/Rentable/ Trash: If you don't mind the plot holes and scratching heads but want to be scared

enough to 

sleep with the light on and Bible in hand, then this DVD is Rentable.
